Tallinn - Ülemiste (TLL):
Location: 5
km/3 Miles ESE of Talinn City.
Airport
Overview: One small terminal on 2 levels. All Arrivals and Intl
departures are on the upper level. Domestic departures are on the lower level.
By Taxi:
To the City centre EEK
80-90/10-20 mins. Taxis are readily available on the upper level at the arrivals
side. Meters are generally used (EEK 45 start, then EEK 7.80 per km), and
receipts are available.

There are 2 bus stops
at the airport terminal, both on the upper level. One is outside the
arrivals end of the terminal (exit and turn right). This stop is for
buses running towards the city centre. The other stop is at the
departures end of the terminal (exit and turn left), and is for buses
running away from the city centre. Arriving buses from the city drop
passengers here. |

to Tallin city center: |
Runs from Reisisadam
(near the ferry port) to the city centre, the airport and onwards to
Möigu. To get on the bus from the city centre, the easiest place is
outside the Viru Keskus shopping centre. The stop is on A. Laikmaa,
opposite the Hotel Tallink. It is just outside the entrance to the
underground bus station. |

Tallinn Heliport:
Location:
In Linnahall harbour, a short distance N of the centre.
By Taxi: To the
city centre 5 mins.
Notes: This heliport is used by
Copterline
for flights to Helsinki. However, in October 2006, flights were completely
suspended, and there is some doubt whether they will resume.
