the southern edge of the City & 5 km/3 Miles from the centre, near Lytham St.

No buses
call at the terminal itself, however there is a stop on Squires Gate
Lane. Exit the terminal and cross the short stay car park. The main road
in front of you is used by 3 bus services. Cross the road and turn right
and walk about 200m to the post office. There is a bus stop outside. |

Metro Coastlines Bus #5 to Victoria
Hospital: |
Route: Opposite Airport - Halfway House - Farmers Arms - Waterloo
Hotel (15 mins) - Topping Street - Layton Square - Victoria Hospital (30
mins). |

Timings: Buses run on Sundays ONLY. Buses leave the stop opposite
the airport at 0749, then every 30 mins until 2349. |

stops opposite Squires gate station (see train section) and runs to
Lytham in the South and throught the city centre to Cleveleys in the
North. |

The airport
terminal is only 5 mins walk from the Squire's Gate train station, from
which regular trains run to Preston train station. From Preston station
there are regular rail links to the rest of the UK. To get to the train
station, exit the terminal, cross the short stay car park, turn left
past the Premier Travel Inn and join the main road. The station is a
short walk to your left. |

Train
Services: |
A sprinter train
leaves Squires Gate Lane station every hour, at ~53 mins past the hour,
direct to Preston station. From Preston there are regular rail links to
the rest of the UK. Tickets can be bought on the train. Alternatively,
regular trains run direct to Preston station from Blackpool North train
station which is ~10 mins/£6 from the airport by taxi. For National Rail

By
Tram:
There is no tram station at the airport terminal, but there is one 5-10 mins
walk away. To get to the train station, exit the terminal, cross the short stay
car park, turn left past the Premier Travel Inn and join the main road. The
Starr Gate tram stop is a short walk to your left past the Squires Gate train
station. Trams run from here all the way up the beachfront to Fleetwood, passing
through Blackpol city centre.

By Bus or Train:
At present there are no bus or rail links to the Airport. The nearest railway
stations are in Carlisle city centre, or in Brampton.
