Plymouth (PLH): Location: 8 km/5 Miles NNE of the City. By Taxi: To Plymouth city centre ~£7.50/15 mins. Taxis are available via the phone in the main terminal building. The main firm used is TaxiFast +44 (0)1752 222222. Other firms are AA Taxis 01752 550777, Chequer Cabs 01752 202020, Tower Cabs 0800 175 175, Derriford and Airport Taxis 01752 791122. By Bus: National Express run coaches from all over the country to Plymouth Bus Station in town, there are no local buses running directly to the airport, although First Western National (Tel 01752 402060), and Plymouth City Bus (Tel 01752 222221) run services to nearby Derriford Roundabout (10 mins walk from the airport) or via the Hospital bus station. Many buses in Plymouth go to or via Derriford Hospital, only 10 mins walk from the airport. A nearer stop, but with less frequent service (~every 30 mins) is the #7 bus to Tavistock, which has a stop at the College of St Mark's & St John's, almost directly opposite the airport.
