Delhi - Indira Gandhi Intl (DEL):  Location: Terminal IA and IB 15km/9 miles SW of City. Terminal II 20 km/12 miles SW of City.  By Taxi: INR 220/30-60 mins to the City Centre. Prices rise after 2300. Delhi Traffc Police Pre-paid taxi Counter just outside Intl terminal. Also at the domestic terminal where the counter is just inside. The following scale of charges is used by the pre-paid taxis:

◊Delhi Airport Transfer Service from Namaste India Tours: For Rs 500, an English speaking driver from Namaste India Tours will meet you at the exit of the arrivals hall at Delhi airport with you name on a placard. (Yes, he'll be there if you're plane is delayed. Yes, he expects you'll need to change money before you leave the arrivals hall). He'll help you load your luggage in to an Ambassador or Tata Indica and take you to the hotel of YOUR choice. There is no night time surcharge, no extra charge for luggage, no driving around in circles listening to how your hotel burned down the night before! If we confirm a booking with a driver, we have to pay the driver whether you show up or not. You pay the driver only after you have arrived at your destination. (Our airport drivers are not allowed to suggest hotels, so no need to worry about ulterior motives). You don't have to share anything with us except your flight number and date and time of arrival. We need a name to put on the placard so we can find each other, but you can use a fake name if you want to. All arrangements are made by e-mail and we don't share our mailing list with anyone. We do need advance notice to arrange services. For reservations e-mail  at inquiry@namasteindiatours.com.  ◊Warning: Many scams are in operation at the airport, and you are recommended to use a pre-paid taxi, rather than one of the hordes of taxi touts who will meet you.
By Bus:
EATS Bus to the city: The EATS (Ex Serviceman's Airlink Transport Service) Buses run to Connaught Place, Delhi Train Station and many hotels in the city centre for INR 50. Buses run according to flight schedules, and depart from both terminals. Timings: Buses leave Terminal II for the city every 60 mins 0010-2310 every hour of the day and night. Cost: INR 50 per adult, INR 25 per child below 12 years. INR 25 for heavy luggage. Contact: Tel 2331 6530.
DTC Bus to the city: Delhi Transport Company (DTC) also runs buses to the city. Timings: Buses leave Terminal II for the city every 60 mins 0520-0020. Cost: INR 50 per adult, INR 25 per child below 12 years. INR 25 for heavy luggage.
Punjab Coach Service: An air-conditioned Coach service is available from the counter of Punjab Tourism, in the Arrival Hall at Terminal II. The coach runs between the Airport Terminal II and Amritsar via Karnal, Ambala, Rajpura, Ludhiana & Jullandhar. Cost: INR 550.
Inter-terminal Shuttle: Various buses run between the terminals, but mostly for ticketed passengers. It is reported that a bus runs between the terminals for INR 10.
By Shuttle Van: □cityhoppa.com runs shuttle vans and private cars from this airport to hotels in the city center and to Heritage Village Resort, Manesar. Click here to make a reservation.  By Train: The Delhi Metro system is being extended to cover the airport. However it will not be ready for several  years.  Rental Cars: It is claimed that EUROPCAR operate at the airport. Weblinks: □First car Hire.  Car Parking: Car Parking is at all 3 terminals. There are 2 car parks at the Intl Terminal: Premium Car Park & General Car Park. A Premium Car Park is also provided outside Terminal 1B. Cost: General Car Park: INR 50 per 4 hrs. Premium Car Park: INR 100 per 4 hrs. Service Tax is added to these charges.
Airport Hotels: Steve's Tip: ◊The Centaur Hotel is close to the airport and has great facilities including Pool and restaurants. Ideal for an overnight stay. I sometimes spend a few hours there between flights without paying for a room, rather than staying at the airport. They will often let you use the pool.  Baggage Storage: Left Luggage is in the premium Car Park Area at Terminal II and in the general car park opposite Terminal IB.
