Location: 16 km/10 Miles W of the City. Airport Overview: There are now 2 terminals. Terminal 2 is new and is for flights to and from Schengen countries only (Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Austria, Greece, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg & Germany). There are limited services in the terminal, but all buses stop outside. Terminal 1 is for flights to all other countries. It has a full range of services. The 2 terminals are close together and can be walked in 5 mins. An elevated walkway or Skybridge also connects the terminals. By Taxi: To Prague/Praha city: ~CZK 600-900/20-30 mins. | This airport is very well served by buses. Buses stop across the road from the arrivals halls on the ground level of both terminals. (M) indicates a metro station. Metro trains run 0500-2400 every 2-10 mins. Cost: Day passes for the buses are CZK 100 for 24 hrs, CZK 330 for 72 hrs (don't ask!!) and CZK 500 for 5 days. There are also now "transport information centres" in the arrivals terminals which sell all the tickets and passes, meaning you don't need loads of coins for the machines any more. | |
