Location: 13 km/8 Miles SE of Cologne
& 16 km/10 Miles N of Bonn.

Overview:
2 terminals, T1 & T2, close together and joined by a walkway. Rental car desks
are in this connecting walkway. Terminal 1 is for Austrian Airlines, Cirrus,
EAE, LGW, Lufthansa, SAS, Centralwings & Germanwings. All other airlines are in
Terminal 2.
By Taxi:
To Cologne €25-30/15-25 mins, to Bonn €35-40/20 mins.

Since
the opening of the airport train station, most bus services have
been cancelled. Only the following buses continue to run: |

Bus #670 to Bonn: |
Route: From the airport: T1 - T2 - Innenministerium - Bonn
(Beethovenhalle & SWB) - Bonn (Brüdergasse) - Bonn Market - Hauptbahnhof
(Main train station in Bonn). To the airport: Train station -
Mozartstrasse - Frankenbad/Kunstverein - Airport T1 - T2. |

Timings: From the airport: Mon-Fri every 20-30 mins 0531-0017.
Saturdays: every 30-60 mins 0547-2354. Sundays & Holidays: every 30-60
mins 0519-0017. |

Timings: From Bonn Station: Mon-Fri every 20-30 mins 0455-2330.
Saturdays: every 30-60 mins 0455-2330. Sundays & Holidays: every 30-60

Cost:
Adults on-way €6.10. Child €3. Tickets can be bought from the machine by
the bus stop or from the driver. Despite the stated cost, I was only
charged €5.60 on a visit in December 05. |

Bus #161 to Porz Market: |
Route: Buses stop at both terminals and then at several stops on the
way to Porz. Timings: Mon-Sat: Buses leave the airport every 30
mins 0548-1948 then every hour until 2348. Sundays & Holidays: Buses
leave the airport at 0548, 0618, 1348 then every 30 mins until 1948 then
hourly until 2348. |

An Airport Railway S-Bahn
line S13 & RE8 has opened with rapid service to Cologne city centre.
The station is connected to both terminals and is in the underground
level. |
