Overview: 2 terminals: the new terminal (Terminal 2) is for most
airlines, whilst the old terminal (Terminal 1) is for low cost carriers and
charter flights. The terminals are about
3 km apart, and
there is supposed to be a free shuttle minibus between them, but it doesn't run
often and you can't find its timetable. Taxi is the only other way of changing
terminal.
By
Taxi: To the city center ~BGL
6-8 (€3-4)/15 mins, but overcharging of tourists is common.
Taxi company OK SUPERTRANS provides taxi services from Sofia Airport. Passengers requiring a taxi should enquire at the
OK SUPERTRANS office
located in the public area of the Arrivals Hall (in the right corner of the arrival hall) or get an OK SUPERTRANS taxi from the line
to the right of the Arrival Hall. Typical fare between the airport and the city

| Notes from a Traveller October 2009: | Terminal 1 can be reached by bus 84, terminal 2 by bus 284. Their routes are the same in the city, they separate only very close to the airport. Both are very reliable. The distance between the two terminals is about 3 km and there is supposed to be a free shuttle minibus between them, but it doesn't run often and you can't find its timetable.
