Bristol International (BRS):
Location: 12 km/7 Miles SSW of the City centre, 24 km/15 Miles W of Bath & 19 km ENE of Weston-super-Mare.
Airport Overview: One large, new, well-organised terminal.


By Taxi:
General: Taxis wait outside the terminal.
Costs: To Bristol City centre ~£20/20-30 mins.
AirportCarz: Taxis can be arranged with AirportCarz, www.airportcarz.com, with a booking desk in the Terminal opposite International Arrivals (open 24 hrs). Book and pre-pay on the fixed price schedule. You will be allocated a vehicle which will collect you on the same level just outside the terminal doors. Wheelchair accessible minibuses are kept on site. Contact: Tel 01275 474888.
Sunland Airport Transfers: Serve Exeter and Bristol Airports. Tel 0845 2571729.
On the Meter: Run a web based taxi service. To Bristol city £20. Contact: Tel 00117 9023 980.

By Bus:
General: The following buses serve the airport and stop right outside arrivals. The Bristol International Flyer has 2 routes (the 330 and the 331) which split on arival at Bristol Temple Meads station:
The Bristol International Flyer Route 330 to Bristol & Clifton: Route: Airport - Kings Head Bridgewater Rd (10 mins) - Chessel St/White Horse (15 mins) - Bedminster Asda (20 mins) - Redcliffe Way opposite Ramada Jarvis Hotel - Bristol Temple Meads train station (25 mins) - Victoria St - Baldwin St (40 mins) - Anchor Rd - Clifton Triangle West (55 mins) - Clifton Down Shopping Centre (1 hour) - Blackboy Hill Top (1:05). Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri at 0700 then every 30 mins until 1930, 2030, 2130, 2215 & 2315. Saturdays every 30 mins 0700-1600 then every hour until 2200, 2245 & 2345. Sundays every hour 0730-1430, then every 30 mins until 2330. Buses leave Bristol Temple Meads Mon-Fri every 30 mins 0625-1925 then every hour until 2225. Saturdays every 30 mins 0625-1555 then every hour until 2255. Sundays every hour 0625-1425 then every 30 mins until 2255. Buses leave Clifton Down Shopping Centre 35 mins before the times for Temple Meads & they leave Blackboy Hill Top 40 mins before. No service Christmas Day & Boxing Day. Cost: To Bristol city centre & Clifton: Adult one-way £5, return £7. Child £4 (£6 return).

Timings: Buses leave the airport Mon-Fri at 0615 then every 30 mins until 1915, 2000, 2100, 2200, 2245 & 2345. Saturdays every 30 mins 0615-1545, 1630, then every hour until 2130, 2215 & 2315. Sundays every hour 0600-1400, 1445, then every 30 mins until 2345. Buses leave Bristol Temple Meads Mon-Fri every 30 mins 0610-1910, 1955, then every hour until 2255. Saturdays at 0525, 0610, then every 30 mins until 1540, 1625, then every hour until 2225. Sundays at 0525, 0555, then every hour until 1355, 1440, then every 30 mins until 2310. Buses leave Bristol Bus & Coach station 10 mins before the times for Temple Meads. No service Christmas Day & Boxing Day. Cost: To Bristol city centre & Clifton: Adult one-way £5, return £7. Child £4 (£6 return).
National Express Coach to Penzance & London: National Express have one service (NX404) that calls at the airport on its way from London to Penzance, via Bridgewater, Taunton, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton, Totnes, Plymouth, Truro & Redruth. It stops at the airport going to Penzance at 0250 (in the middle of the night) and on the way back to London at 0300, routing via Bath, Chippenham & Heathrow Airport.
First Bus #121 to Weston-super-Mare Route: Bristol Bus Station - Bristol Temple Meads Train station - Bedminster Down (Kings Head) - Winford - Felton - Airport - Redhill - Wrington - Lower Langford - Churchill Gate - Sandford - Winscombe - Banwell - Locking - Weston-super-Mare (Train station & Marine Parade). Timings: Buses run Mon-Fri at 0624, 0932, then every hour until 1632. On Sundays & Bank Holidays, buses leave the airport heading for Weston every 2 hours 1003-1803.

By Train: The nearest station is Bristol Temple Meads in Bristol town centre. Regular trains run throughout the day from this station to London, Swindon, Cardiff, Bath, Exeter and beyond. From the station the Bristol International Flyer bus connects to and from the airport, and takes ~30 mins. See above.
Rental Cars:

Car Parking:
Short and long stay car parks are immediately outside the terminal with Courtesy buses that run to and from the terminal entrance. There is also an off-airport valet type car park called the Silver Zone about 2 miles away with a Shuttle service to the terminal. NOTE: Vehicle Drop-Off outside the terminal is strictly enforced ‘time-wise’. ‘Pick-up’ is not allowed at the front of the terminal and drivers are directed to rapid pick up car park at the far side of the terminal.
Rapid Pick Up Car Park: There is a rapid pick up car park at the side of the terminal: 10 mins free, 1 hour £2, 2 hrs £5, 3 hrs £10, over 3 hrs £50 per day. Credit card surcharge £1.50 (except Maestro & VISA).
Short Stay: 1 hour £2, 2 hrs £5, 3 hrs £6, 4 hrs £7, 12 hrs £13, 24 hrs £16, each extra day £16. Credit card surcharge £1.50 (except Maestro & VISA).
Long Stay: 1 day £14, 2 days £22, 3 days £27, 4 days £34, 5 days £40, 6 days £44, 7 days £49, 8 days £54, 14 days £84, 21 days £109, each extra day £4. Credit card surcharge £1.50 (except Maestro & VISA).
Business Parking: Each 24 hrs or part of, £22. Credit card surcharge £1.50 (except Maestro & VISA).
Navigator Parking: Requires membership. Each 24 hrs or part of, £15. Credit card surcharge £1.50 (except Maestro & VISA).
WCP Parking: Situated a few miles away from the airport, but with free transfers to the terminal, this car park offers parking from £26 for 8 days. Tel +44 (0)1275 475600

Notes: ATMs/Cash machines available in the terminal. This airport was formerly known as Bristol Lulsgate.
Airport Hotels: Holiday Inn Bristol Airport (Tel +44 (0)1934 861123) is 3½ km/2½ Miles from the terminals. There is a complimentary phone at the airport information desk to summon the shuttle bus. A closer, but smaller hotel is the Airport Tavern +44 (0)1275 472217. Parking is available, as are free transfers to the terminal, 400m away.

Bristol - Filton (FZO):
Location:
7 km/4 Miles N of Bristol city centre & 1.5 km/1 Mile N of Filton.

By Road:
This airport is poorly signed. Indeed in July 206 I did not find one sign showing the way to the airport, nor to the Concorde exhibition.
By Bus: Local Bus #75
runs from the city centre to Filton (Northville Road or Springfields stops) every 12 mins during the week and on the weekends.
By Train:
Filton Abbey Wood train station is 3 km/2 Miles away from the airport and has trains that run into Bristol Temple Meads or Parkway (change here for London or Wales).

The Premier Travel Inn, Filton is very close to the airport. Tel 0870 990 6456.
