Brisbane Intl (BNE):
Location: 
12 km/7 Miles NE of the City.
Airport Overview:
2 terminals, domestic & Intl, situated some distance apart, but connected by train or taxi. Too far to walk. The domestic terminal is all on one level with departures and arrivals side by side. A bridge connects to the Airtrain. The International terminal is on 3 levels. The lowest level is for Car Parking, the next level up is for Arrivals and the top floor is for departures. There is a coach park at the South end of the terminal for charter coaches.
Inter-Terminal Transfer: The 2 terminals are about 1km apart. An inter-terminal shuttle bus connects the domestic and Intl terminals at a cost of A$5, departing every 10 mins in the morning and every 20 mins in the afternoon. The Airtrain rail link can also be used at a cost of $5. A taxi between the terminals takes ~5 mins and costs $10.
Driving directions: The airport has a dedicated access road off a junction of the Gateway Arterial highway near Brisbane.
By Taxi:
To the city center A$40-75/25-40 mins
. The cost and transfer times are very much traffic dependent. There is a $3 airport surcharge added to taxis fares from the airport. Tariff 1 (0700-1900 weekdays): Flagfall $2.90, then 2.14 per km. Waiting $0.79 per minute. Tariff 2 (all other times and holidays): Flagfall $4.30, then 2.14 per km. Waiting $0.79 per minute. Tariff 3 (late night, midnight to 0500 $2 surcharge): Flagfall $6.30, then 2.14 per km. Waiting $0.79 per minute. By Bus:
T Bus Inter-Terminal Transfer Bus: Route: The T-Bus Inter-Terminal transfer bus runs: Domestic Terminal - International terminal - Airport Village (DFO Shopping Precinct) - Novotel Hotel. The bus stops outside the arrivals area of each terminal. Timings: Buses run every 10-20 mins 0500-2300 for Terminal Transfers, and 0600-1800 for the Airport Village. Cost: To and from the Airport Village transfer is free. For inter-terminal transfer: Passengers holding boarding cards are free, other persons over 4 years of age $5. Children under 4 are free. Transfer Time: Between the terminals 5-10 mins. Intl terminal to Airport Village 7 mins.

By Shuttle Van:
Con-X-ion Shuttle to Brisbane City: Con-X-ion, formerly Coachtrans runs shuttle vans to and from the airport to hotels and residences all over Brisbane city. Cost: $14 per adult (child $8, family $40) to the city centre (Roma St Transit Centre). To Hamilton Wharf $20 (child $8, Family $40). Make reservations on-line at http://con-x-ion.com. Shuttles stop outside the domestic terminal and the arrivals level of the Intl terminal. There is a Con-X-ion information desk on the pavement outside the domestic terminal where tickets can be bought. Contact: Tel 555 69 888.
Con-X-ion Shuttle to the Gold Coast: Con-X-ion, formerly Coachtrans runs shuttle vans to and from the airport to hotels and residences all over the Gold Coast. Cost: Around $46 per person to Surfer's Paradise. Make reservations on-line at http://con-x-ion.com. Shuttles stop outside the domestic terminal and the arrivals level of the Intl terminal. There is a Con-X-ion information desk on the pavement outside the domestic terminal where tickets can be bought. Contact: Tel 555 69 888.
Con-X-ion Shuttle to the Sunshine Coast: Con-X-ion, formerly Coachtrans runs shuttle vans to and from the airport to hotels and residences all over the Sunshine Coast & Byron Bay. Cost: Around $52 per person to Noosa Head. Make reservations on-line at http://con-x-ion.com. Shuttles stop outside the domestic terminal and the arrivals level of the Intl terminal. There is a Con-X-ion information desk on the pavement outside the domestic terminal where tickets can be bought. Contact: Tel 555 69 888.
Coachtrans Australia: Coachtrans Australia runs shuttles from the airport to the Gold Coast. Contact: Tel 1300 664 700 or www.coachtrans.com.au.
Col's: Col's runs shuttles from the airport to the Sunshine Coast.

By Train: 
Airtrain Rail Link: The Airtrain provides frequent, rapid services to Brisbane Central Business District in 20-22 mins and to the Gold Coast in 72-90 mins. Trains depart approximately every 15 mins to/from Brisbane CBD. Just follow the excellent signs in the terminal to find the train station. There is an AirTrain information desk in the domestic terminal.
Route: Domestic Terminal - Intl Terminal - Eagle Junction - Bowen Hills - Fortitude Valley - Central - Roma St. Some trains then continue to - South Brisbane - South Bank - Park Rd - Coopers Plains - Loganlea - Beenleigh - Ormeau - Coomera - Helensvale - Nerang - Robina - Varsity Lakes. Connections can be made in Brisbane for other train lines throughout the region.
Cost: To the City: Adult A$16.50. Return fare $29. Inter Terminal Transfer $5. Fares to the Gold coast: Adult one-way A$34.20, adult return A$66.40.
Timings: Trains depart the domestic terminal Mon-Fri every 15-30 mins 0542-2159. Weekends every 30 mins 0559-2159. Trains depart the Intl terminal 3 minutes later. Trains depart Roma St station in the city Mon-Fri every 15-30 mins 0500-2106. Weekends every 30 mins 0507-2107. Trains depart from Varsity Lakes Weekdays at 0434, 0518, then every ~30 mins until 1948. At weekends every ~30 mins 0548-1948. Airtrain Connect: Airtrain run an upgraded service which consists of the Airtrain to the Gold Coast, followed by a Limousine direct to your door. Total costs: Adult one way: A$50, one free child per adult. Return Trip A$90. Book online.

Car Parking: Both long and short term parking is available at both terminals. At the domestic airport, the car park is the large building opposite, beyond the Airtrain station. At the Intl terminal, parking is on the lowest level of the terminal.
Baggage Storage: 
Left Luggage lockers are available outside the domestic terminal - cross one lane of traffic as if heading towards the car park.
Currency Services: ATMs/Cash machines in both terminals. An accommodation board & Bureau de Change/Foreign Exchange is in the Intl terminal.
Notes:
Baggage carts are available for free at the Intl terminal or for $4 at the domestic terminal. 30 mins free wireless internet is available in each terminal.
