Brisbane Intl (BNE):
Location: 12 km/7 Miles NE of the City.
Airport
Overview:
2 terminals, domestic & Intl, situated some distance apart, but connected by
train or taxi. Too far to walk. The domestic terminal is all on one level with
departures and arrivals side by side. A bridge connects to the Airtrain. The
International terminal is on 3 levels. The lowest level is for Car Parking, the
next level up is for Arrivals and the top floor is for departures. There is a
coach park at the South end of the terminal for charter coaches.
Inter-Terminal Transfer: The 2
terminals are about 1km apart. An inter-terminal shuttle bus connects the domestic and Intl terminals at a cost of A$5,
departing every 10 mins in the morning and every 20 mins in the afternoon.
The Airtrain rail link can also be used at a cost of $5. A taxi
between the terminals takes ~5 mins and costs $10.
Driving directions:
The airport has a dedicated access road off a junction of the Gateway Arterial highway near Brisbane.

The cost and transfer times are very much traffic dependent.

| T Bus Inter-Terminal Transfer Bus: | Route: The T-Bus Inter-Terminal transfer bus runs: Domestic Terminal - International terminal - Airport Village (DFO Shopping Precinct) - Novotel Hotel. The bus stops outside the arrivals area of each terminal. Timings: Buses run every 10-20 mins 0500-2300 for Terminal Transfers, and 0600-1800 for the Airport Village. Cost: To and from the Airport Village transfer is free. For inter-terminal transfer: Passengers holding boarding cards are free, other persons over 4 years of age $5. Children under 4 are free. Transfer Time: Between the terminals 5-10 mins. Intl terminal to Airport Village 7 mins. |

| Airtrain Rail Link: | The Airtrain provides frequent, rapid services to Brisbane Central Business District in 22 mins and to the Gold Coast in 72 mins. Trains depart approximately every 15 mins to/from Brisbane CBD. Just follow the excellent signs in the terminal to find the train station. There is an AirTrain information desk in the domestic terminal. |

Connections can be made in Brisbane for other train lines throughout the region. |
