Basle/Basel/Bale/Mulhouse/Freiburg - EuroAirport, France/Switzerland (BSL): Location: The airport is technically in France, 9 km/6 Miles NW of Basle in Switzerland, 22 km/14 Miles SSE of Mulhouse in France & 50 km/31 Miles SSW of Freiburg in Germany. Airport Map: Click here. Airport Overview: The airport is divided into Swiss and French sectors. Immigration is possible into either country. Follow the signs. It is possible to pass from one side to the other on the upper level on presentation of a passport. Each side is symmetrical, with arrivals on the lower level and departures on the upper. Airline Locations: Austrian Airlines, Writish Airways, Cimber, easyJet, Lufthansa & Swiss have check-in on the Swiss side. All other airlines, including Air France check-in on the French side.

| BVB Bus #50 (Airline) to Basle: | Route: Airport - Frachthalle/Cargo centre - Fr. Miescher strasse (5 mins) - Im Wasenboden/Bahnhof St Johann - Kannenfeldplatz (7 mins) - Brausebad (11 mins) - SBB/CFF (Basel train station). Takes ~14-20 mins. |

However, when you check in to a hotel in Basle, you will normally be given a mobility card (or elso you can buy one) which allows free travel all over the city including this bus to the airport. Tickets can be bought from machines next to the bus stop at the airport. | |

| To Messe Basel/Basel Fair: | To get to the Basel Fair/Messe, use a combination of Bus #50 to the train station, followed by tram #2 to the fair. |
| bustransfer.ch: | Run pre-reserved transfers to Zurich (12/75 mins), Bern, Luzern, Interlaken and many more Swiss citiies. The bus stop at Basel airport is on the lower level near the Taxi Ranks. Make your reservations on the website or call +41 747 0101. |
