Location: 22 km/14 Miles S of the City centre
in Mangere.
Airport Overview: 3
terminals: International, Domestic Air New Zealand & Domestic Qantas. The 2
domestic terminal are joined together, and they are linked to the Intl terminal
by free shuttle bus (every 20 mins 0600-2230) or you can walk in 12
mins.

Inter-Terminal Transfer: The 2 domestic terminals are almost 1 km/0.6 miles away from the Intl Terminal. A free shuttle bus runs between the terminals every 20
mins 0600-2230. Alternatively, passengers can walk between the terminals in 12
mins, by following the blue and white lines painted on the ground.
Baggage Storage: Left luggage facilities available. Hand luggage $5 per day
per item, suitcases $7 per day & large items $10 per day. Tel 256 8845. Lockers
are also
available.

available. In the Intl terminal exit customs then turn left and left again.
Airport Hotels: Several hotels are near the airport. Jet Inn
(09) 275 4100 is 5-10 mins from the airport with a complimentary shuttle to and
from the airport. Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland Airport has a freephone
in arrivals. Airport Garden Inn has a freephone in arrivals. Jet
Park Hotel is 5 mins from the airport with a free 24 shuttle. Tel 0800 538
466. Airport Gateway Hotel 0800 651 110 has free pick up and drop off.
Airport Tax: Intl Departure Tax: Children under 12 years Nil,
all other passengers NZ$25 payable in cash or card. Passengers transiting for 24 hrs or less are not required to pay
tax, and should claim an exemption stamp from the bank in the terminal.
