Tirana - Rinas (TIA):  Location: 12 km/8 Miles NW of the City.  Airport Overview: A new terminal is under construction and should be open by Spring 2007.  By Road: 29 km/18 Miles/30-45 mins to the city centre.  By Taxi: ALL 2000-3000/€30/30-45 mins to the city centre.  By Bus: A bus runs to the Albtransport Office at Rruga Durresit every 2 or 3 hours for ~ALL 150-300, although some travelers report being unable to find it.  Rental Cars: Hertz.  Airport Tax: Departure tax US$10.  Airport Tel No: +355 4 223 938.  Bagage Storage: Left Luggage is reported to be available 0600-2200.  Updated Feb07.  [back].[top]
