| Capital Transit Buses #3 & 4 | These buses run into the city Mon-Fri only. The bus stop at the airport can be found by exiting the terminal and turning left. Walk to the end of the terminal and you will see a seat and a posted timetable. This is where the bus stops. |

By Bus: Several of the town's buses stop at the Airport Ferry Dock and run into town. $2-3. By Ferry: ◊The Airporter Bus runs a service in conjunction with the ferry. All flights are met, and the bus runs to the ferry terminal and then on the other side you are taken to hotels and locations around town. Cost $18. Klawock (KLW): Location: 3.5 km/2.5 Miles NNE of Klawock & 12 km/9 Miles NNE of Craig. On Foot: Do not attempt to walk to town or the hotels due to large numbers of bears!! Sitka - Rocky Gutierrez (SIT): Location: On Japonski Island joined to Sitka by a bridge, 2 km/1 Mile WSW of Sitka town center. On Foot: A very pleasant 20-25 min walk to the town center (subject to Alaskan weather!). By Taxi: To town ~$8/5 mins. Sitka Cab +1 (907) 747 5001 & Hanks Cabs 747 8888. By Bus: No public bus serves the airport, however when large cruise ships are in town, a Visitor's Transit shuttle runs around town every 30 mins. By Shuttle Van: Sitka Tours Airporter Bus meets all Alaska Airlines Scheduled flights and runs into town (Hotels & Ferry terminal) for $6 one way, $8 return. Only runs May-September. Skagway (SGY): Location: 600metres/600 yards N of the Ferry terminal in Skagway. On Foot: Walk to everywhere in town in 10 mins including the Ferry terminal.
